2. Use your own data to generate reports to improve lead generation and reputation

So many Web3 companies are obsessed with data without using it to their advantage, many don’t realise that it can be used to create original and exciting new content. 

When I was working with a crypto compliance SaaS client, we used their own data to create a report on the Crypto Regulation Technology Industry. It was the first report of its kind and it was made up entirely of the client’s data that they had collected.

The report acted as a linkable asset and attracted backlinks from 94 new domains, such as podbean.com, benzinga.com, and chainanalysis.com. Most importantly, as the report was downloadable it acted as a lead magnet for the client.

When I started using LinkedIn, like most people, I used it to apply for jobs and make connections with colleagues. However, when I started my own business, I was always left wondering about the opportunities beyond a friend telling a friend.

I knew I had plenty of examples of how I’d helped clients with their SEO and overall digital marketing, so why not show that off? What’s a better way to show a potential client that you know SEO, than showing your results!

That’s when I started posting on a weekly basis, then a daily basis. Then people really started to notice me. I started in late August and here there are some results:

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the way businesses operate, and the world of crypto marketing is no exception. Tools like GTP3 can help you create high-quality content faster and more efficiently, freeing up your time to focus on other aspects of your business – and it’s also free!

Some examples of how I’m using GPT3 right now are:

  1. Improving the grammar and spelling of content written by non-native English speakers, such as myself. This can help ensure that your content is professional and error-free, increasing the chances of converting potential customers. Even if you are thinking – “but wait a minute: Your English is perfect, you have spoken at the most important SEO conferences in the world, and won the UK’S LGBTQ New Comedian of the year award in 2022 because you don’t just know about SEO you are also a comedian – did you have GPT3 to go over this articles?”. Yes, I did, and thank you for the compliments.
  2. Streamlining the creation of emails to clients, allowing you to quickly and easily send personalized messages to your target audience.
  3. Generating contracts and other legal documents saves time and resources while ensuring that all necessary documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Creating social media posts that are engaging and relevant to your target audience. By using AI to analyze data on your followers and the content that performs best, you can create social media posts that are more likely to be shared and liked.
  5. Using AI like GTP3 can also help with translating whitepapers and other documents from one language to another. This can be especially useful if you are targeting an international audience and need to ensure that your content is available in multiple languages. By using AI to handle the translation process, you can save time and resources while ensuring that your content is accurate and professionally translated. I have tested this from English to Spanish and vice versa and the results are so much better than using Google Translate, Deep L, or any Worpress plugin! Ideally,  you can also hire a native speaker to check the accuracy of the content.

The “act as” hack is a useful technique for crafting effective ChatGPT prompts. It involves telling ChatGPT to take on a specific role or persona in the conversation by using the phrase “act as” in the prompt. This can make the conversation more engaging and immersive or allow you to simulate real-world scenarios.

For example, you can ask ChatGPT to “act as a crypto trader” and give recommendations for investment opportunities or “act as a detective” and solve a fictional crime. To use the hack, simply include “act as” followed by a description of the role ChatGPT should play in the conversation.

By using the “act as” hack, you can create customized, engaging ChatGPT conversations that meet the user’s specific interests and needs.

Final thoughts

Marketing can be a funny industry and it’s always difficult to know what works and what doesn’t (there’s plenty of snake oil salesmen out there). 

What I’ve shown in this blog post are tactics that have worked for me and for my clients in the past and they’re tactics I’ll certainly be using in the future.
