Today I’m back with NeuronWriter for a new session of “500+ Marketing Assets from One Piece of Content”, co-hosted with Pawel Sokolowski. If you caught the first version of this talk, you know the story. One book became 60 blog posts, then hundreds of social posts, videos, carousels and articles. This session goes one layer deeper into the part I glossed over last time: how the NeuronWriter MCP sits inside the writing step, and why those posts rank instead of just existing.

Today’s recording isn’t live yet. In the meantime, here’s the original session of this talk:

What changed since the last session

The core idea hasn’t moved. A book, report or whitepaper isn’t a destination, it’s a source. I wrote Mastering AI Search for Crypto and Web3 Brands to build authority in a niche with no book on SEO or GEO for crypto. Then I turned it into the input for six repurposing lines. The thinking behind that approach sits in my wider work on AI content systems and agents.

Three things are different now.

AI search is now my first source of leads

Last time it was second, behind referrals. Over three months versus the previous three, as of 17 June 2026, Google Analytics shows:

  • organic search sessions up 37%
  • organic social sessions up 344%
  • organic video sessions up 44%

Ask ChatGPT, Grok or Google AI to recommend a Web3 SEO consultant, and I’m in the answer, with my site and my videos cited as sources.

The repurposing family keeps growing

Every skill built for the book got fed back into the system. That includes new modules for cannibalisation checks, keyword research and entity optimisation, plus a new repurposer for webinar promotion. That last one promoted this very session.

The system is now a product

The full collection of skills, scripts and orchestration logic is packaged as Repurposing Lines, one deployable thing. More on that at the end.

How the NeuronWriter MCP fits into the blog line

Line 2 of the system turns each book chapter into a content pillar, and each pillar into a cluster of posts. Sixty posts, one per day, sixty days of daily content. Half of my top 10 blog posts were written with this exact system.

The writing step runs on five Claude skills: keyword research, an SEO content assistant, the blog writer, a thumbnail generator and a publisher. The SEO content assistant is where NeuronWriter comes in. It runs a simple loop: brief, score, improve, re-score.

Building on the NeuronWriter API since early 2025, and what the MCP fixed

None of this started with Claude. I’ve been building on the NeuronWriter API since early 2025, and this system is a rebuild of that earlier work, not a new invention.

Back in March 2025 I built three custom GPTs for SEO content:

  • a keyword research helper
  • an SEO content assistant that ran correlational analysis on the top ten results
  • a writing agent trained on my talks and scripts

Together they cut my production time by up to 80%. Later that year I put the same setup to work for a crypto client: a GPT connected to the NeuronWriter API that took a landing page from keyword to scored draft in under ten minutes. I walked through the full architecture in my first NeuronWriter webinar in August 2025. That version is still available as the NeuronWriter GPT and automation bundle.

Look at Line 2 today and you’ll recognise it. Keyword Research, SEO Content Assistant and Blog-Writer are the same three agents. They’re Claude skills now, and the loop is identical. The method survived. The plumbing is what changed.

That’s the part I’d want any team to take away. Nothing you build with AI is wasted. Old prompts become skills, old custom GPTs become agents, and old automations become the foundation of the next system. The brand voice, the fact sheet, the briefs and the logic I wrote in 2025 still carry this system today. Only the wrapper changed. Treat every workflow you build as the first draft of the next one, and recycle it the moment better tools show up.

Here’s that first NeuronWriter session, where I walked through the API and custom GPT version of the system:

What the API version cost me

The API version worked, but every connection was a project:

  • A custom GPT can’t be called through the API. For my Make.com automation, I had to rebuild my marketing brain as a separate OpenAI Assistant. That automation turned a new spreadsheet row into a NeuronWriter analysis, a draft and a scored Google Doc.
  • The OpenAI module choked on big requests, so I built two-minute Sleep steps into the scenario.
  • Drafts landed in messy markdown that needed a clean-up stage before any writer touched them.
  • API keys had to be managed in every tool.

What the MCP removes

The MCP removes almost all of that. There are no keys to manage, because it connects through OAuth. There’s no duplicate assistant to keep in sync, and no sleep timers. The brief, the brand voice skill, the fact sheet and the draft all live in one conversation. The analysis still takes around 90 seconds to run. The difference is that nothing breaks while you wait.

Make.com didn’t disappear, it just moved. It still runs the event-triggered work, like the RSS feed that turns every new blog post into a LinkedIn and X post. Anything that needs judgement, a brief or a score now runs through Claude and the MCP.

A real brief, and why I didn’t trust the median

Here’s an example from the deck: a query analysis for “crypto business account. NeuronWriter came back with:

  • a median word count of 1,126+
  • readability at 41+
  • search intent split 53.3% transactional, 46.7% informational

Taking that median at face value would have produced a thin page, because short product pages were dragging it down. So the recommended target became 2,300 to 3,000 words, pitched against the listicles and guides scoring 69 and above. The target content score was 78 to 82, a few points under the top competitor at 84.

That’s the part I want people to take from today. NeuronWriter gives you the data, but the SERP mix tells you which data to believe. The skill reads the dominant content types (product pages, comparisons, guides and listicles) before setting targets. It doesn’t blindly chase the number.

Scoring is free, so iterate

Creating a new analysis uses your monthly analysis limit. Listing projects, fetching recommendations and scoring drafts don’t use credits. So the loop costs one analysis per keyword, however many times you re-score. I re-score after every meaningful edit, because re-scoring costs nothing.

How to connect it in two minutes

  1. Open Claude and go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Add a custom connector, name it NEURONwriter, and set the server URL to https://app.neuronwriter.com/mcp/http.
  3. Click Connect, log in to NeuronWriter and approve. It uses OAuth, so Claude never sees your password, and you can revoke access any time.
  4. Start with “Show my projects” or “Create an analysis for [keyword] in project [name]”.

One requirement: you need at least the Gold plan for API and MCP access. If you’re new to NeuronWriter, you can start on the monthly plan or go for the lifetime deal. If you plan to run briefs every week, the lifetime deal is worth a look.

What changed since the last session: ChatGPT for browser work

When I gave this talk two weeks ago, the Claude Chrome extension handled my browser tasks. It published posts in WordPress, fixed Elementor when the REST API couldn’t, and ran bulk jobs across sites.

That has changed. Lately I use ChatGPT for browser actions more and more, because I find it more stable. The difference is biggest when building things in WordPress. It gets through multi-step tasks without dropping halfway, and that matters more to me than anything else when I hand over a job and walk away.

This is exactly why I build systems out of skills, MCPs and plain instructions rather than locking into one tool. The skills, brand voice and fact sheet carry over. When a better executor shows up, I swap it in and the system keeps running. Six months from now the best browser agent might be a different one again, and that’s fine.

The other five lines, in one pass

The blog post isn’t the end of the line, it’s the start of the next one:

  • Line 1, YouTube: one video becomes seven pieces of content across platforms, the original repurposing workflow.
  • Line 3, social posts: the blog RSS feed triggers a LinkedIn and X post through Make, 120 pieces.
  • Line 4, video: each post becomes a 90-second AI avatar reel published to four platforms, 240 pieces.
  • Line 5, carousels: branded carousels for LinkedIn and Instagram built in Gamma, 120 carousels.
  • Line 6, long-form articles: each post becomes a LinkedIn and Medium article via Narrareach, 120 articles.

Here’s what a Line 4 video looks like, scripted, generated and published without manual editing:

Why bother with all of it? LLMs don’t trust one source, they trust patterns. One clear explanation repeated ten times beats a hundred pieces of scattered content. That’s Layer 4 of my book, distribution and reinforcement. Video matters most here: per Ahrefs, YouTube mentions show the highest correlation with AI visibility at 0.737, above backlinks and domain rating.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the NeuronWriter MCP?

It’s a connector that lets AI assistants like Claude work with NeuronWriter directly. Claude creates analyses, pulls SEO recommendations and scores drafts inside the conversation, with no copying between tools. It connects through OAuth, so your password stays private.

Does the NeuronWriter MCP use my analysis credits?

Only for new analyses. Creating a query uses your monthly analysis limit, and creating a project uses a project slot. Listing projects, fetching recommendations, scoring drafts and updating tags are all free.

Do I need to be technical to use Repurposing Lines?

No. Basic needs a Claude account and your CMS connected. Advanced also needs HeyGen and ChatGPT accounts. If you want help with setup, the Advanced + Call tier includes an hour with me.

Where can I watch the previous session?
