I’ve been accepted into SheBuilds Season 04 by Lovable. From 15 to 17 October, I’ll spend 72 hours building a working product from scratch, alongside mentors and a few hundred women around the world doing the same thing.
For years I’ve built systems for other people’s brands: SEO strategies, AI content creation agents and marketing pipelines for crypto and fintech teams. Now I get to build my own, with Lovable behind me.
What is SheBuilds on Lovable?
SheBuilds is Lovable’s global community of women building with AI, run through seasonal hackathons, webinars and community spaces. Season 04 is a 72-hour virtual build event: you arrive with an idea and leave with a working product.
The format is built around output. There’s a hard deadline, mentors on hand and a cohort of builders working at the same pace.

Backed by Lovable, Anthropic and Stripe
SheBuilds isn’t a side community project. It’s run by Lovable, the AI software creation platform, and it sits at the centre of how the company talks about who gets to build software.
The backing is visible in what Lovable puts behind it:
- On International Women’s Day 2026, Lovable made its platform free worldwide for 24 hours, with community build events running in more than 40 countries.
- That edition was powered by Anthropic and run in partnership with Stripe, with participants receiving $100 in Anthropic API credits and $250 in Stripe fee credits.
- Earlier SheBuilds programmes drew nearly 5,000 applicants from over 100 countries.
- Past participants have launched products with paying customers, including AI Recess, MicroFundHer and Sawa.
Lovable’s leadership, including CEO Anton Osika and Head of Growth Elena Verna, has put SheBuilds front and centre as proof that AI removes the barrier between an idea and a live product.
Why getting into SheBuilds matters to me
Season 04 is a selective cohort of a few hundred builders, not an open sign-up. Getting a place means Lovable saw an idea worth backing.
The structure is what I value most. A hard 72-hour deadline, mentors on hand and a cohort working at the same pace. That’s how ideas stop being plans and start being products.
AI has changed who gets to build
I’m not an engineer. Two years ago, building a product would have needed a developer, a budget and months. Now it needs a clear problem, a well-structured plan and a tool like Lovable.
That’s the same shift I talk about with marketing teams: AI doesn’t replace judgement, it removes the bottleneck between an idea and a working result. SheBuilds is my chance to prove that on my own product, not just a client’s.
What I’m building
My SheBuilds project is TheftResponse: an account audit that maps your financial and crypto accounts, flags security gaps, and guides you through the first 60 minutes after your phone is stolen, with real phone numbers, templates and recovery odds for each account.
It comes from years of working with crypto, fintech and compliance teams, and from knowing how much a single unprotected hour can cost.
What happens in the next 72 hours
The goal for SheBuilds is a working first version, not a finished company. By the time submissions close on 17 October, TheftResponse should do three things well:
- Map a user’s financial and crypto accounts in one guided audit
- Flag the security gaps in each account and show how to close them
- Generate a 60-minute incident response plan with real numbers, templates and recovery odds
I’ll be sharing the build as it happens: what works, what breaks and what I’d do differently.
Conclusion
Getting into SheBuilds is the push to stop planning TheftResponse and start shipping it. The problem is real, the first hour is where people lose the most, and nobody has joined the steps into one plan.
Seventy-two hours, a hard deadline and a cohort of women building alongside me. I’ll report back on 22 October.
