Today I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on for a while, my book Mastering AI Search for Crypto & Web3 Brands, From SEO to GEO: How to Appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity & Other LLMs.

It’s a practical framework for how crypto and blockchain companies become discoverable in AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.

Why I Wrote This Book on AI visibility for Web3

Over the past few years, working with Web3 teams, I kept seeing the same pattern: strong products, ambitious teams, active content strategies. Everything looked good on paper.

Then I’d ask: “Do you appear in ChatGPT when someone searches for your category?”

The answer was almost always no. Not sometimes. Almost always.

It wasn’t a budget problem. It wasn’t a lack of content. It was a visibility problem, and nobody was talking about how to solve it.

What’s Changing

Discovery has fundamentally shifted. Users are no longer just searching and clicking through websites. They’re asking AI systems directly:

  • “What is the best DeFi lending platform?”

  • “What tools exist for crypto treasury management?”

  • “Which protocols are safe to use?”

These systems don’t browse like humans do. They read, extract, compare, and recommend based on what they find.

If your product isn’t clearly understood by AI, it doesn’t get recommended. It’s that simple.

The GEO Framework: Four Strategic Layers

Mastering AI Search for Crypto & Web3 Brands introduces a practical framework built around four layers:

1. Technical Layer — Can AI systems read your content? Your website needs to be crawlable and indexable. This means proper site structure, schema markup, and technical foundations that AI systems understand.

2. Content Layer — Can AI systems understand your product? Your documentation needs to be clear, structured, and extractable. AI systems need to find definitions, explainers, and comparisons they can understand and reuse.

3. Authority Layer — Should AI systems trust you? Third-party validation matters. This is where you build credibility signals through guest posts, media mentions, and consistent positioning across authoritative sources. Read thought leadership in AI search.

4. Reinforcement Layer — Is your positioning repeated and consistent everywhere? Distribution across high-authority platforms (Reddit, YouTube, Medium, Wikipedia, industry blogs) reinforces your positioning and gives AI multiple sources to validate your credibility.

When all four layers align, AI systems can confidently recommend your product.

Who This Is For

  • Web3 founders building protocols and applications

  • CMOs and marketing leads at crypto companies

  • teams building real products that need to be understood

This isn’t about SEO tricks or growth hacks. It’s about making your product clear enough to be explained, structured enough to be reused, and consistent enough to be trusted by AI systems.
